There were analogous land titles and positions in every district (paviet) of Voivodeship (Miensk, Rečyca and Mazyr), which in the documents called "of voivodeship", so the positions and titles of Miensk Voivodeship were actually district (paviet) one. Most of the offices that wrote themselves with provincial titles did not have any legal basis for it.

The publication of releases is trying to restore the names of our ancestors from oblivion, which had constituted the elite of Miensk District nobility in the past. Based on the preserved historical sources, first of all on the documents of the National Historical Archives of the Republic of Belarus, the author describes the life of people which have had a great influence on the development of events both in the Voivodeship and in the Grand Duchy of Litva, their property status, social and family relationships.

This issue is intended for historians, genealogists and a wide circle of readers who are interested in the history of Belarus (also Grand Duchy of Litva).
